Gate of Truth necklace - this references the idea of emotional self-defense and the sealing of the throat chakra, preventing full and honest expression. Informed by my experiences changing or hiding my voice to avoid transphobic street harassment or better navigate relationships; for example, people take me more seriously now that my voice is lower. Is spoken communication objective? Can there ever be a "TRUTH" separate from our own unconscious biases?
